Disruption takes place in Tallinn, capital city of Estonia. It is a video poem based on a crude first impression from this city and a quick view of post-soviet countries framed by the strong discontinuity between the medieval historic city center and the thumping abandoned monuments left behind by the Russian occupation. Throughout a poem and a dance performance Disruption talks about the daily rupture lived inside the neighborhood kopli liinid. The operation place of a mayor Soviet ship factory where all the factory workers lived, today partially abandoned and highly problematic due to the concentration of Russian squatters and drug addicts who stayed in Estonia after it was declared and independent republic.
Using their own words and language Disruption also raises the possibility of seeing the conflict of this area through the eyes of these people who seem to be stuck in time and in the contemplation of the USSR dream.
